Diet for food sensitivity/allergy
Do you have noticed reactions or discomforts after eating certain foods?
Many people choose certain diets simply because they experienced issues after eating certain foods. These foods typically include ingredients or substances (allergens) that could cause allegic reactions. There are common types of allegic such as gluten, nut, soy, lactose and caesin (milk protein) that could lead to surfacial reactions (e.g. rashes or gas) and/or internal reactions (e.g. swelling or imflammation). Some of these reactions could be discomforting only, but some could be life threatening. It is best to consult specialist (such as, allegist) to identify the allergens. For example, if someone has gluten allergy, then the person may consider GF (Gluten-Free) diet to avoid allergic reactions and allow body to restore itself. Some internal reactions, such as inflamation, may not be easily noticeable; however, continuously ignoring it may induce other health issues. Anyway, understanding one's food sensitivities/allergies is the first step to choose the right diet plan.
Diet for health goals and longevity
You may have a lot of health goals. You want to be stronger and healthier than you are now. You want to be able to run and lift heavier than you can so far. You may also want to lose weight. All of these goals will need to pair with the right plan.
For example, if your health goal is to lose weight, then it makes sense to choose a diet that control your calories intake such as low carb diet or ketogenic diet. If your goal is more to build muscle, then you may want to consider a high-protein ketogenic diet. Similiarly, people with diabetes may consider low-carb diet to reduce their blood sugar level. There is no one plan that fits everyone's needs. Determining your health goals will help building the right diet plan for you.
